changes

Wow it's been a while since I've posted. Everything is going good with the pregnancy. I've been seeing the doctor every two weeks for the last 2 months or so. He is just being precautious. I'm usually there only 10 minutes. Long enough to pee in a cup, get weighed and listen to Madelyn's heartbeat. I went yesterday and got a good report. I went a few weeks ago for a sugar test and results were fine.

I had a message from the doctor's office today when I got back from lunch. I was a bit concerned. An unexpected message from the doctor is not always good. I returned the call and was told that the Opp Hospital will not have an OB ward after Feb. This meaning that Dr. Bowen would have no where to deliver. Long story short, I needed a new OB. It took a while to process, as I was totally caught off guard. I asked our maternity social worker who she recommended and a few others and decided to use Dr. Hiem in Enterprise. I've heard lots of good things about him and Dr. Pollard. Dr. Pollard is the other OB in the practice. I'll be seeing both of them. I already have an appointment for Feb 13th. I'll get my records from Dr. Bowen and take them with me.

I'll try to remember to update after the appointment with the new docs!

Well that was rude of them. Don't they know Madelyn is coming soon? Hope everything goes well on the 13th with your new doctor.
